Package Types

The Package Types section allows you to manage the package types available for use within the Operations module.

From this section, you can view, create, edit, and delete package types.

Package Types List

The list displays the registered package types and their main information.

Code

Identifies the package type within the system.

Name

Indicates the name assigned to the package type.

Container Type

Indicates the container type associated with the package, when applicable.

Container

Indicates whether the package type corresponds to a container.

Refrigerated

Indicates whether the package type is associated with refrigerated conditions.

Transport Modes

Indicates the transport modes enabled for the package type.

Active

Indicates whether the package type is enabled for use.

Available Actions

Search

Allows you to locate package types within the list.

Create Package Type

Allows you to register a new package type.

Edit

Allows you to modify the information of an existing package type.

Delete

Allows you to delete a registered package type.

Create Package Type

The Create Package Type option allows you to register a new package type.

General Information

Code

Allows you to enter the code used to identify the package type.

Name

Allows you to enter the package type name.

Active

Allows you to define whether the package type will be enabled for use.

Classification

Is Container

Allows you to indicate whether the package type corresponds to a container.

Air

Allows you to enable the package type for air operations.

Ocean

Allows you to enable the package type for ocean operations.

Inland

Allows you to enable the package type for inland operations.

The Code and Name fields are required.

Actions

Create

Saves the package type and completes the creation process.

Create and Create Another

Saves the current record and starts the creation of a new one.

Cancel

Closes the form without creating the package type.

Complete the Configuration

Once created, the package type becomes available in the main list for viewing and management.
